The Township of Spring, in Berks County PA is listing for sale a 2005 Ford Ranger XLT pickup "AS IS". Vehicle was last in service with our Public Works Department running errands for our many functions within the Township. Vehicle has a clean title and runs well, would be an excellent use for a beginner vehicle or just to beat around town and save on wear and tear from primary vehicle.
Equipped with a 4.0L V6 engine (runs well) and only 64182 miles for an 05' model. AM/FM radio, AC, Heat, really a decent vehicle. Current Vehicle Inspection through August 2026.
Exterior: Minor rust spots (pics included), Inspections of the vehicle are both welcome and encouraged before bidding. Vehicle will be sitting at our Township Admin Building at 2850 Windmill Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
Township Supervisors will consider the highest bid and will award at their regularly scheduled Supervisor meeting on January 26th, 2026 at 7pm.
Payment in full must be made to Public Surplus. All taxes, title and transfer fees are the buyer's responsibility. Also, delivery or pickup of the vehicle is the buyer's responsibility. Bids that are blocked by two or more agencies may be cancelled. Please limit to questions only, no editorial comments, findings or opinions will be allowed.
Be advised that this item have been previously used and may contain defects. Be also advised that the buyer is solely responsible for ALL loading, shipping, transporting, coordinating payments and pickups with our Municipality within the proper time frame, no exceptions, terms and conditions are strictly enforced.
