PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

These items will be sold to LAW ENFORCEMENT POLICE RELATED AGENCIES, INCLUDING LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT DEALERS AND OUTFITTERS, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AND EMS DEPARTMENTS ONLY.

To become prequalified as a law enforcement, fire department, or EMS agency, we require a letter on agency letterhead with written consent from the Chief of your agency (resale not allowed). Owner of the Law Enforcement Equipment Dealers and Outfitters business to purchase these items for official business ONLY.

This consent will be verified prior to the prequalification deadline.

PICKUP:   Monday through Friday from 8 am to 2 pm no exceptions (except State and Federal Holiday's). 
By appointment only.  Read below for the policy.

All items must be picked up no later than 5 business days after payment has been received. 


***Buyers MUST make a pick-up appointment by contacting the seller ahead of time and receiving a date AND time confirmation. Buyers who come unconfirmed, without their receipt, or without their ID for validation WILL NOT be able to receive their item(s). All three of these criteria need to be met before the item(s) can be released. It is the BUYER'S obligation to contact the seller; if no contact is made within the 5 day time limit the auction will be forfeited and NO REFUND will be issued.***

PayMac handles all payments for State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Buyers Premium: A 7% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
